Terms of Service

By accessing or using CVCooked (the “Service”), operated by APEX Labs from Delhi, India, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

CVCooked is an AI-powered resume analysis tool. The Service accepts a resume you provide, analyzes it against ATS and job-market patterns using third-party AI models (including Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude), and returns a critique, scoring, job matches, and — in paid tiers — a rewritten resume and supporting documents. The Service is provided on an “as is” basis for informational and career-guidance purposes only.

All output generated by CVCooked — including roasts, scores, critiques, job matches, salary benchmarks, and rewrites — is produced by automated AI systems. Output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. CVCooked’s output is guidance only and is not a substitute for professional career, legal, or financial advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI-generated content before using it in job applications or other contexts.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. If you provide an email address, you warrant that it is accurate and that you are authorized to receive communications at that address. CVCooked does not require password-based accounts in V1; authentication is performed via email magic link (OTP).

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not own or have permission to process.
• Upload malware, executable code, or attempts to exploit the AI pipeline (prompt injection, data exfiltration, jailbreaks).
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or mislead third parties.
• Scrape, resell, or white-label the Service without written permission from APEX Labs.
• Circumvent rate limits, payment walls, or technical restrictions.

The paid tier (“Fix Me Completely”) is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Pricing is ₹499 INR for users in India (via Razorpay) and $19.99 USD / CAD $24.99 for users outside India (via Stripe). Prices are displayed at checkout and may be updated at any time for future purchases. Applicable taxes (including GST in India) are your responsibility unless otherwise stated at checkout. Payment authorizes CVCooked to generate and deliver the paid deliverables described at the time of purchase.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In summary: refunds are available within 1 hour of payment only if AI processing of your rewrite has not started. Once AI processing has begun or the rewritten resume has been delivered, the purchase is non-refundable. The free tier has no payment and therefore no refund.

You retain all rights to the resume content you submit. You grant CVCooked a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, transmit, and store that content solely to provide the Service (including transmitting it to AI providers for analysis). CVCooked and APEX Labs retain all rights in the Service software, prompts, scoring logic, branding, and aggregate analytics. AI-generated output may be used freely by you for personal job-seeking purposes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVCooked, APEX Labs, its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, job opportunities, interviews, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid to CVCooked in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹500 INR, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless APEX Labs from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third-party rights (including intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights).

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, abuse of the AI pipeline, or any conduct we reasonably believe harms other users or the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, liability, indemnity, governing law) will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India for any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights under your local law.
